The key components in light rail operations for the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority's (VTA) Guadalupe Corridor and Tasman Corridor in San Jose Construction in this area include the following: adding a new crossover to the existing system; converting Tasman Station to temporary terminal; replacing the Half Grand-Union special trackwork; modifying four stations for low floor light rail vehicles (LRVs); and new construction of the Baypoint transfer station, major interlocking and pocket track.
