TRANSPORT AND CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSION: THE BRAZILIAN CASE
The transport sector is one of the main contributors to the problem of greenhouse gas emissions in Brazil, and is responsible for 21% of the country's total energy consumption. This article discusses the environmental and health concerns posed by high levels of transport-generated greenhouse gases from motor vehicle traffic, and offers some potential alternative fuel concepts.
