TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT IN CASE OF EMERGENCY IN THE SERTI AREA ITINERARIES OF THE MEDITERRANEAN CORRIDOR, VALENCIAN COMMUNITY
The objective of this study is to analyze the need to have an emergency plan for traffic management and its subsequent development in situations where a massive evacuation of people and vehicles is necessary, with independence of the type of event occurred (a sports event, people gatherings due to the celebration of a socio-cultural event, a nuclear power station evacuation). The problems associated to an emergency plan, its methodology and the use of an emergency plan in sports events, such as the Speed Circuit in Cheste are described.
