A SIMULATION MODEL FOR THE STUDY OF NON-SIGNALISED T JUNCTIONS

MODELLO IN SIMULAZIONE PER LO STUDIO DEGLI INCROCI A "T" NON SEMAFORIZZATI

A simulation model is proposed for the study of waiting associated with the negotiation of non-signalized T junctions. An introduction to the problem is followed by a definition of the hypotheses relative to the variables of the waiting phenomenon. The logic of the model and its functioning, are then described. Diagrams and tables are presented illustrating the waiting times and the number of queuing vehicles for certain combinations of traffic on the three branches of the junction. /TRRL/
