VISITORS TO ACADIA NATIONAL PARK/MOUNT DESERT ISLAND : LOOK AT INFORMATION SYSTEMS
This presentation presents the findings of a survey conducted between August 20th and October 9th , 1999. The survey consisted of both intercept interviews and self-administered questionnaires. The objectives of the survey were to assess visitor and resident information needs; to determine use of available information systems; and to assess preference for potential information systems.
