BICYCLE TRACKS: NOT ALWAYS SAFER
FIETSPADEN NIET ALTIJD EVEN VEILIG
Highlights of a report on safety aspects of cycle tracks by the Dutch province of Limburg are discussed. The conclusions are in some places different from the official recommendations issued by a governmental committee. Inside built-up areas a cycle track along a road with many junctions does more harm than good. /TRRL/
