STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR PAVEMENT MATERIALS OF THE COUNTRY ROADS BOARD, VICTORIA

The Country Roads Board, Victoria in the last three years has adopted standard specifications for gravel, sand and soft or rippable rock, crushed rock, plant mixed wet-mix crushed rock and cement treated crushed rock. The properties required of pavement materials and the way in which the specifications aim to provide materials with these properties are discussed. The philosophies of various details of the specifications are elaborated. /TRRL/
