URBAN SAFETY MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES: ROAD SAFETY STRATEGIES FOR URBAN COMMUNITIES
This report discusses urban safety management in the England. It defines urban safety management as a vision of traffic safety for the whole community. Urban safety management combines city planning, highway safety, enforcement, traffic control, education and policies for land use and transportation. Public participation is encouraged and solicited. Encouraging all residents to proactively take responsibility for their communities decreases the incidence of traffic accidents.
