MODELING DYNAMIC TRANSPORTATION NETWORKS WITH VARIATIONAL INEQUALITIES. IN: BEHAVIORAL AND NETWORK IMPACTS OF DRIVER INFORMATION SYSTEMS
This paper aims to summarize a new generation of dynamic network equilibrium models, incorporating dynamic travel choice problems including motorists' departure/arrival time choice and route choice. These models are expected to be able to function as off-line dynamic travel forecasting and evaluation tools, and eventually as real time on-line models of urban transportation networks.
