BEHAVIOR OF WESTERN EUROPEAN SCHEDULED AIRLINES DURING THE MARKET LIBERALIZATION PROCESS. IN: NEW CONTRIBUTIONS TO TRANSPORTATION ANALYSIS IN EUROPE
The objective of this paper is to investigate the airline behavior under conditions of gradual liberalization of the EUs aviation market. For that purpose it has been necessary to create a suitable methodology for monitoring the structural changes that might happen over time in the structure of industry, the aviation market and at particular airlines. Only a section of the airline industry represented by the scheduled airlines operating in the network of international routes connecting particular Member States has been under focus.
