DYNAMIC TRAIN SCHEDULING ON A NATIONAL SCALE
This article describes TrainPlan, a total train planning and scheduling system which has the ability to find an acceptable path for all the trains that operators want to run through a network. TrainPlan accommodates the different complexities associated with train planning.
