ROBUST VEHICLE MOTION DETECTION AND TRACKING FOR TRAFFIC SURVEILLANCE
In this paper, the authors present a vehicle motion detection and tracking algorithm that can be applied to traffic surveillance. The system has three components: vehicle motion mask extraction, vehicle object tracking, and motion analysis. The algorithm reduces the computation time for vehicle detection and offers shadow separation.
