OPTIMIZING TRAFFIC LIGHT CONTROLLERS BY MEANS OF EVOLUTIONARY ALGORITHMS
This paper examines the potential use of evolutionary algorithms for optimizing traffic light controllers. Application of this methodology can be seen in traffic signal preemption for public transit.
