MEASUREMENT AND ANALYSIS OF VEHICLE NOISE ON THE YAMANASHI MAGLEV TEST LINE
Three microphones, each with a parabolic reflector, were set to measure vehicle noise on the Yamanashi Test Line. Using a personal computer, the noise from the surface of the car was analyzed. This paper explains the noise measuring system used for the study and data processing, focusing on the calculation of sound levels, analysis of time dependent signals and visualization of the noise.
