BULKERS BOUNCE BACK
The past few years have not been particularly good for shipping and the bulk trades have suffered. The outlook is much more promising, as there are now strong signs of a good recovery. The optimism is attributed primarily to the recovery of Asian economy, which means that the growth in bulk trades will be primarily in the Far East, but there is no suggestion of a decline in the Atlantic trades. The article also looks at the continuing concerns over bulk carrier safety.
