HOW MIGHT CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CONTRIBUTE TO THE TRANSITION OF THE RUSSIAN URBAN TRANSPORTATION?
The paper describes the present structure of the Russian public transit systems and provides information on demographics, financial sources, potential modal choices. The possibility of using the Canadian experience as a model to the transition of the Russian urban transportation is explored.
