NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (NHTSA) CALLS FOR MORE AIR BAG TALKS
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has requested meetings with officials from BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz to discuss research with regard to the safety of side air bag systems they have in current production vehicles. They have some concerns about the data. NHTSA does not yet regulate side air bags.
