A GRANT FOR HELP
This article discusses a grant program which places more patrolmen on a particular stretch of California highway 118, in Ventura County, California. The claim to fame of this particular stretch of highway is its number of accident-causing traffic violations. The purpose of placing more police officers on this stretch of the highway is to stop violations that might otherwise lead to traffic accidents.
