EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT USING PERFORMANCE-BASED COMPENSATION
For many years, Waukesha Metro Transit had a compensation system that involved the use of a questionnaire-type performance appraisal that rated employees on a point scale. The purpose of this paper is to describe Waukesha's performance based compensation system, the reasons for creation of the policy, and the implementation of the policy to date.
