THE LOS ANGELES TO PASADENA BLUE LINE LIGHT RAIL DESIGN/BUILD PROJECT: HISTORY AND STATUS UPDATE
The planned link between the three cities of Los Angeles, South Pasadena and Pasadena with light rail transit has been under consideration for the last 20 years. The paper reviews the steps that have been taken, and that have been suspended during the years, and then describes the recently developed funding plan and defining of the scope of the two design build contracts that will be used to complete the project in approximately three years.
