CAMERAS REDUCE RED LIGHT VIOLATIONS
This article describes a report released by the U.S. Federal Highway Administration that shows that red light running violations decreased by as much as 60% at intersections where cameras automatically enforce the law. The report analyzed results of red light running camera programs in Los Angeles County and San Francisco, California; New York, New York; Howard County, Maryland; and Polk County, Florida.
