FHWA ANNOUNCES POOLED-FUND STUDY ON TMCS
The Federal Highway Administration, in cooperation with 12 states and the District of Columbia, will administer a 6-year pooled-fund study to examine and improve the way state and local transportation management centers (TMCs) gather, synthesize, and disseminate traffic information. Some of the participating states have been operating TMCs for more than 30 years, while others are planning their first.
