With these container storage installations, which are the last stage in development work at the Eurokai KG sea port terminal at Hamburg-Waltershof, it is possible to place 4,000 containers on top of each other on five levels over a surface area of only 15,000 square meters approximately. The gantry cranes are fully automated and controlled by a process computer.
