SHEAR LAG IN STEEL BOX GIRDER BRIDGES. DISCUSSION
This discussion centres mainly on the stress analysis of flat stiffened plates with regard to the shear lag problem, and examines the allowances to be made for shear lag with reference to the following criteria: ultimate limit state, unserviceability limit state, fatigue, and deflection. /TRRL/
