DRAINAGE OF EARTHWORK SLOPES: A REVIEW
This report reviews the information and advice available on the drainage of earthworks, identifies the limitations of current knowledge and provides recommendations on how these might be addressed. The report concludes that there is much information available currently which could be usefully and readily made available through the publication of a new Advice Note on slope drainage. In addition, there is scope for expanding the clauses in the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works to cover the subject. (A)
