THE USE OF NEURAL NETWORKS FOR SHORT-TERM PREDICTION OF TRAFFIC DEMAND
This paper presents the results of a preliminary exploration of the performance of neural networks for the traffic demand prediction problem, from the point of view of the quality of the provided results, as well as from the computational requirements for real-time applications.
