CARGO TRANSPORTATION ADRIATIC--DANUBE REGION WITH REFERENCE TO CROATIAN HARBOURS AND PORTS
This paper considers the role of Croatian sea harbors, ports, river navigation, and waterways, depending on the transport routes, between the Adriatic and the Danube region. Taking into account the difficulties currently present due to war destruction that have disturbed technological processes at Croatian harbors and ports, as well as the Adriatic--Danube-region commodity trade, Croatia must continue to invest all its efforts in order to prevent further decline of cargo flows between the Adriatic and Danube regions.
