The article examines the demand for high load capacity and adaptability from falsework used in construction of Sweden's Staket rail bridge. The span and height of the new in situ concrete bridge will allow river craft to pass beneath. The bridge will have a clear span of approximately 120 m and provide between 18 and 20 m head clearance for river traffic.
