TTCI: TOUGH TESTS FOR HIGH-TECH POWER
The article provides information on the Transportation Technology Center's (TTC) and the General Motor's Electro-Motive Division (EMD) testing, evaluating and proving of the performance of the newly developed high technology locomotives. TTC is used by many suppliers for short term test programs focused on ensuring that proposed products comply with stringent industry standards, and EMD is used as a case study in this article.
