REMARKS ON GENERAL SAFETY
This paper, presented by a representative of the United States National Transportation Safety Board, focuses on three issues. It provides an overview of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) including the use of the party system in accident investigation, describes the NTSB's process for determining safety recommendations, and relates its new role of coordinating assistance to family's of aircraft accident victims.
