CNN-APPLICATIONS IN TOLL DRIVING
This paper presents a vehicle license plate identification and recognition system. The system is considered as one of the four candidate systems for automated toll collection in the Netherlands. It makes use of discrete time cellular neural nets and classifier combining in order to deal with the extreme time and performance requirements that are placed on the system.
