SS-FH SIGNALS USED FOR VERY LOW INTERFERENCE IN VEHICULAR CRUISING CONTROL SYSTEMS

This paper presents a signal modulation format along with a car radar sensor that can be used for vehicular cruising control systems and automatic braking for collision avoidance systems and is very resistant to interference. The authors describe the radar which is based on the application of spread spectrum communications. Microwave signals are used for surveillance. Results from simulation studies report on the system performance.
