AN APPROACH TO THE VEHICLE TRACKING METHOD USING INTENSITY PROJECTION OF THE EDGE IMAGE

In this paper, the authors describe vehicle recognition and lane recognition methods for a rear end collision avoidance system. Edge histograms, computer vision, and Kalman filtering are used in the methodology.
