CONTROL OF AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES WITH VEHICLE-TO-VEHICLE COMMUNICATION
In this paper, the authors present a driving control system for automated vehicles. The vehicles are linked by a string using vehicle to vehicle communications. Speed control utilizes data such as speed position and direction from the preceding vehicle. For steering control, position data from the preceding is considered as a target point of a trajectory. Results from an experiment on the speed and steering control of two vehicles are reported.
