MOTION ESTIMATION AND IMAGE DIFFERENCE FOR MULTI-OBJECT TRACKING

In this paper, the author presents a multi-object tracking method that can be used for video images of tracking vehicles for traffic control. The algorithm is based on motion estimation and image difference techniques. Results from testing the method for vehicle traffic control applications using a video camera are reported.
