MICROSCOPIC REAL-TIME SIMULATION OF LARGE ROAD NETWORKS

In this paper, the authors address the dynamic assignment problem and real-time simulation of large road networks. Minimal microscopic models which reproduce only the essentials of traffic flow are used.
