NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION SAFETY BOARD SAFETY RECOMMENDATION, I-00-5
This safety recommendation, addressed to the Honorable Jane E. Henney, M.D., Commissioner, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), recommends that the FDA: Establish a clear, consistent, easily recognizable warning label for all prescription and over-the-counter medications that may interfere with an individual's ability to operate a vehicle; and require that the label be prominently displayed on all packaging of such medications (I-00-5).
