The Canadian Automobile Association is a national, non- profit organization comprised of eight constituent clubs with a combined membership of 1,300,000. The test describes the concern of the Association for the important role played by the private automobile in Canadian Transportation. It outlines that the private motorist should pay his fair share of the tax dollar and that he should not have to pay more for the same automobile in Canada than the U.S. The headings include the National Transportation Policy, Automobile Price Differential Between Canada and the U.S.A., Excise Tax on Gasoline and Voluntary Gasoline Conservation.
