NEW TECHNOLOGIES OF HIGHWAY PATCH WORK IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

The actuality of introducing new technologies to repair roads in the Republic of Belarus is determined by including the network of Belarusian roads into the European transport system. The problem is that the adaptation to the European traffic volume takes place in short terms without first-class motorways. The motorways have badly deteriorated road surfaces, limited road service and road safety. Therefore, an accelerated overhaul of road covering is frequently used in the Republic of Belarus. Because of the comparatively limited budgetary funds and short terms for the road repair, some contractor organisations of the Republic of Belarus introduce new technologies of road surfacing repair of motorways which meet strict requirements; provide high pace of work, ecological safety of work and traffic safety under conditions of incessant traffic. Besides, standard technologies of road surfacing overhaul do not provide a longitudinal and cross smoothness, do not slow the cracks development on the surface of a new covering, increase bitumen consumption for sizing, which leads to a run formation. The use of new technologies of motorway covering overhaul provides a high quality of work and lowers its price. The present paper analyses the experience of the specific technology realization for Remix-Plus heat regeneration and cold regeneration of motorways carried out by open stock company "Road-building trust - 2" in the town of Gomel.
