OPTIMISING A CAR CHASSIS
In this paper, the authors present a new procedure for designing car chassis systems using a multicriteria approach. An artificial neural network is used to approximate the relationships between chassis design variables and performance indexes. Genetic algorithms to create optimal solutions. The authors demonstrate that by applying the proposed methodology, improvements regarding the whole performances indexes that describe vehicle dynamic behavior can be obtained for an optimized car.
