TRANSFORMATION BETWEEN COORDINATES AND MILEAE IN HIGHWAY GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
In this paper, the authors present a methodology for the highway alignment recognition which is used in establishing high accuracy linear reference systems (LRS). An algorithm is developed and demonstrated for LRS modeling when Global Positioning System (GPS) and map digitization are added.
