SELF-POWERED ACTIVE CONTROL APPLIED TO A TRUCK CAB SUSPENSION
This paper describes how a method involving self-powered active control can be used to control active vibration when applied to the cab suspension of a heavy duty truck. An electric generator installed in the chassis suspension, regenerates vibration energy and stores it in the condenser. The stored energy is then used to achieve active vibration control in the cab suspension actuator.
