USING FUZZY LOGIC TO CONTROL TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT MULTI-PHASE INTERSECTIONS
In this paper, the authors describe how fuzzy control technology works well in traffic signal control situations which involve multiple approaches and vehicle movements. Field test results show that fuzzy control principles are very competitive in isolated multi-phase traffic signal control.
