INTER-MODEL [I.E., INTER-MODAL] ECONOMIC COMPARISON : WHERE ARE THE RESOURCE DIFFERENCES?
In this paper, the author presents a traffic management system for integrating platoons though a long traffic bottleneck. The system also assists in controlling traffic flow before and after and can predict platoon speeds. In addition, the author examines communications between vehicles and the infrastructure and the generation of accurate global positioning information.
