THE TRANSIT COOPERATIVE RESEARCH PROGRAM: A RESOURCE FOR TRANSPORTATION PROFESSIONALS
The Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) is creating a wealth of material which is of direct interest to transportation professionals in all fields. Reports, manuals, guidebooks and software tools are available to anyone with an interest in the field. In addition, TCRP affords numerous opportunities for direct participation. Individuals are welcome and encouraged to submit research topics, serve on project panels or compete for research assignments. This paper provides an overview of the TCRP and the opportunities which it presents to the transportation professional.
