TRANSPORTATION POLICY--HOW ACTING LOCALLY CAN BE BENEFICIAL: THE RHYMNEY VALLEY, SOUTH WALES AS AN EXAMPLE
This paper examines and reviews the current state of transportation policy within the United Kingdom. In the spirit of Local Agenda 21's empowerment of local communities as well as by thinking globally and acting locally, a case study for the Rhymney Valley, South Wales is presented. This analyzes the region's current policies which influence transportation, and suggestions are made for future improvements.
