SYSTEM APPROACH TO THE DEFINITION OF THE PORT CONTAINER TERMINAL
This paper discusses and analyzes the basic features of a port container terminal, based on the contents of a technological process, from unloading, loading, stacking of containers, and providing other services in connection with container traffic by a general systems methodology. Within this framework, the following have been defined: a set of quantities and resolution level, activity, behavior, UC-structure (universe of discourse and couplings), and ST-structure (states with transitions between the states of the system) of the port container terminal system. The methodology outlined facilitates decision making during work in the port container terminal, with the goal of achieving its optimal functioning.
