PLASSER'S MONSTER MILLENNIUM MACHINE
The article provides a brief description of a recently developed formation rehabilitation machine that is capable of integrated ballast recycling. The machine is designed for the fully mechanized insertion of a formation protective layer (FPL) and a ballast bed with integral ballast recycling, and for lifting, levelling, and tamping the track.
