CARTAGO A NEW STANDARD CARGO SHIP FROM SPAIN

The new "Cartago" class of cargo ship has a length oa 148.06 m, a draft of 8.94 m and is powered by a Bazan-M. A.N. type 12 V40/54A diesel engine developing 7,500 bhp at 450 rpm, giving a speed of 15.5 knots. The vessel is multi-purpose and the maximum cargo load is 13,928 t.
