EVALUATION OF AIRLINE ALLIANCE IN INTERNATIONAL AVIATION MARKET USING EQUILIBRIUM ANALYSIS
In the international aviation industry, service such as the number of firms, frequencies and cities which could be served arranged by bilateral agreement, which makes the industry strongly regulated. The recent trend in the aviation industry is to build worldwide alliance. This paper formularizes the aviation market from the standpoint of microeconomics and influence of airline alliance is examined using equilibrium analysis; the results are obtained on the condition that every airline can operate at all regions.
